She can have bubbles! Just make sure you use a gentle product - we like California Baby bubble bath.

Unlike poster above, I wouldn't hold off bubbles for when kid gets difficult. My sister HATED baths, but ANY time bubbles were mentioned, she was just fine with it. She always wanted ME to do her bath because I always included bubbles. You'd think I would be her favorite sister, but no. %26lt;sigh%26gt; guess she doesn't remember the bubble baths.
Not too young but sometimes little girls can get a unirary tract infection from taking bubble baths. My eight year old still can't use bubbles because of this.
Our baby is 8 weeks old and we use baby bubble bath, johnson and johnson, it has lavender in it and is supposed to make her sleep better ... we also used from the beginning tip and toe bubble wash. These are specially made for babies so that it doesn't harm their skin, plus it's easier to wash them in that as no soap is needed. Our little one loves the bubbles even at her age.
I think between 6 months to 1 year is fine depending on how sensitive their skin is.





FYI even mainstream doctors and media are warning against using lavender for boys. And if it is screwing with boys hormones it can't be great for girls either. Once in awhile shouldn't be a concern but not every single day.

no! my baby has had bubble baths since she was very young, I use the J %26amp; J Lavender %26amp; Chamomille bath thing, it makes nice bubbles and helps them calm down for a nice sleep.
Here's a tip for ya. I never had my kids use a bubble bath when they were babies. I figured that some time when they are a little older they (or just one of them) may go through a phase where they hate baths.





When my second son was about 6, he was being difficult about getting into the tub. I decided to throw some bubble bath in to make the bath more appealing. He thought it was appealing alright. It was hard to get him out of there. LOL





I did the same with toothpaste. If he goes through a phase (and both of boys eventually did) where he hates brushing his teeth then I surprise him with some cool-tasting kids toothpaste. Solved the problem of a kid looking for a way to avoid brushing his teeth.

I use to give my daughter bubble baths and started having a rash. I went to my doctor, he said that children's skin is very sensitive and also very soft. The bubble bath products have chemicals in them that are not good for adults, let alone kids. He said some kids have no problem and some get rash like mine and some have even worse problems.





Anyway, my doctor told me that it is best to not give bubble bath to young children. Why ruin their skin now, they have there whole life to do that. So i don't give bubble baths anymore. My niece(brother's daughter) had taken bubble bath once and her skin went very dry and itchy. So yeah, i don't give bubble baths anymore. I didn't even try for my second child. I would recommend don't do it. If you want, just fill the tub with water give her some toys and let her play around in the water. But bubble bath products are not so good. Don't take any chance. Rest is up to you.
In general, bubble baths can increase the risk for infection for ALL females, young and old. It's just the way of our anatomy. Will it hurt her to do it once in awhile? Probably not. Just don't make it into a habit and look at the ingredients of the bubbles. Choose an appropriate one for babies/kids that tend to be less harsh. Or what you could do is make a bubble bath with Johnson%26amp;Johnson No Tear wash.
If she has sensitive skin it could give her a nasty rash (I'm horribly allergic, as is the little girl I babysit). You won't know though until you let her take one. There's a couple things you can do to lessen the chance of a reaction; use a little palmolive dish soap (it's very gentle), use babywash (again gentle), rinse her off before getting out of the tub. Yes,my daughter got infections for many times.Her doc.didn't say much.I took her to another doctor who is female and has two girls herself.Finally she told me not to give her bubble bath.So i put a little chair in the tub,she sits on it and plays with bubbles.Ever since,knock on wood she hasn't had an infection.
Not good for the bather, not good for the environment, unnecessary, why not use a good pure soap?

Technicaly, the bubbles are clear. They difuse the light, making it look as thought he bubbles are white.
