My son keeps trying to bathe our cat with bubble bath and pine sol?

My son keeps trying to bathe our cat with bubble bath and pine sol. How do I keep him from doing this...i've caught him doing it twice now..My son keeps trying to bathe our cat with bubble bath and pine sol?
the cat didn't like to bath, if you do that, it will be evil to you.My son keeps trying to bathe our cat with bubble bath and pine sol?
beat the hell out of him, why is he such a dummy? it must be your fault, smack yourself around a bit as well.
You don't say how old your son is, but if he's a toddler, the Pine Sol should already be put up OUT of his REACH. Any other liquid soap, cleaner, insecticide, etc!!

Make one of your ';overhead'; cabinets, a place for ';poisonous products';. First thing you know, he'll be putting it in the cat's mouth...or his own!

If he's NOT a toddler..........he should already have been taught that some things are not to play with! My 3 yr old great-granddaughter already knows better than to do something like that!

Hopefully, you don't end up with a dead cat......poison, drowned, while being ';bathed';!!

You really need to WORK on THIS......for everyone's sake! Good luck..........
Give the cat to a better home.
He's your son, discipline him! A soapy cat can have dry skin problems and nausea (from trying to clean the soap off) and be very sick from that. Pine Sol is toxic, so stop this kid from trying to kill your pet or you'll have some horendous vet fees.
Put the pine sol and bubble bath where he can't find it. Good Luck :)
god bless him hes mean keep tha cata way from him
First of all, you need to be storing the chemicals out of your kids reach and punishing the child for this. Even with the bubble bath as it can be harmful to the cat as well. You need to be teaching your kid not to mess with the cat any more either. Then lastly supervise your kid better.
Beat his *** and hide the pine sol.
How old is your son?

If he is younger, you can ask him why he thinks the cat needs a bath with bubble bath and pine sol, then carefully explain to him that those are dangerous to the cat. If he continues to want to bathe the cat, get him a cat shampoo and oversee the process. Most cats hate getting bathed, but if he learns the proper way to bathe a cat and what should be used, it is better than your current situation.

You could also try finding a toy (not a stuffed animal, but something that would be appropriate for this situation) that is shaped like a cat and allowing him to bathe it instead, performing it properly so that he learns what is ok and what is not.

I would also suggest putting the bubble bath and pine sol in a place where he can not get to it until he learns better.

And if your son is a preteen/teenager, ground him or disipline him in a proper manner. You could also make him volunteer at an animal shelter/animal control in order to gain respect for animals rather than seeking to harm the animals.

Pine sol is very harsh on the skin and if ingested can cause ulcerations in the mouth, tongue, esophagous, and stomach (and continue down the digestive tract until semi-neutralized). It deends on the bubble bath, but at least it will cause some drying of the skin and fur.

Hope this was of some help.
Gee, maybe by being a responsible parent and keeping the bottles out of his reach? Do you also have matches and a container of gasoline out for him as well?
How old is your son ? I would put the pine sol where he can`t get it. But I do think it is reather funny. The pine sol scares me , but still funny.
First of all, keep the Pine Sol locked in the cabinet where it is out of reach (Pine Sol is very harmful to skin) and watch UR cat all the time make sure hes not in trouble Or tell Ur son if he keeps bathing the cat in bubble bath you'll not let him watch T. V. for a week or something, and you can pretend UR going out, and then sneak behind UR son 2 see if he's doing it again OR YOU can also buy UR SON a toy so he'll get distracted and forget about bathing the cat.
This isn't a pet question but the thing you need to do is lock the cabinets so he can't get to pine sol. When ingested, it's terribly ... sorta kinda painful and disgusting. (I swallowed some when I was young, it wasn't a fun experience.)

Keep the cat away from him until he grows up a little bit.
Yo!! Get that kid away from little Fluffy before he drowns her or she claws his eyes out!
Hide the pine sol, duh.
