Science question. Wouldn't bath oils be a waste of time if you used bubble bath at the same time?

Seems pretty basic since you use soap to break up oils when cleaning dishes etc but apparently I need corroborating opinions.Science question. Wouldn't bath oils be a waste of time if you used bubble bath at the same time?
It's true that the soaps and detergents in bubble bath liquid will emulsify bath oils into the bath water. The soap that is being used to emulsify the oil will then not be available to make foam and bubbles, so the bubbles will be destabilized and will last for a shorter time. The oil has not gone completely away though, so if one sat in the bath for some time, some of the oils should still be able to permeate into the skin; but you are right, it won't be as efficient a process than if there were no bubble bath present.
