My girlfriend loves bubble baths and I wanted to get her some for Valentine's day. She's picky about not having chemicals in her baths, so I was wondering if anyone had any awesome suggestions???Who makes the best organic bubble bath?

Try essential oils instead. Bubble bath can dry out skin. But, you can make some salt soaks with epsom salts and essential oils. You can get essential oils at some drug stores, gnc, or health food stores. It'll be way better for her skin, and there are a ton of recipes online.

this is the easiest thing ive ever made get some rolled oats , the kind you make porridge with get a couple of handfulls with some favourite herbs i.e lavender , thyme , rosepettals put it in some muslin or some tights/stockings tie it with ribbon , run it under the hot water for the bath and the loveley milky , fragranced water clenses the body and mind . and you feel like cleopatra (bathing in milk) .. good luck!
Yes def make it yourself! I make my own soaps and shampoos as well and it's super simple. She will go gaga over it and maybe ask you to join the bubble bath with her ooh lala!!!! Wish my B/F was that thoughtful!

It's totally false though. Baths are actually GOOD for you when you're pregnant. Also our sewage systems / sanitation / cleanliness of water are better standards these days - people back then used to have 8-12 people using one tub's worth of water.
The thing you DO need to be cautious of though is the temperature of the bath itself. Be sure that you avoid the use of hot tubs and hot baths (above 100 degrees F). These can cause your body temperature to rise, and this can cause problems for a developing baby, particularly in the first trimester.
Enjoy your bath just make sure it's of a normal temperature (not scalding). I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have had a bath practically every day throughout my pregnancy. Our baby was scanned on Tuesday and all is perfect - he's a healthy 5lb 10 already and everything is in perfect working order :)

Go for it, just as long as your water hasnt broke and your not to big to get out. I got stuck in the tub at 7 months...my husband had a hell of a time getting me out. It probably feel really good and dont make the temp too hot its bad for your blood pressure.
they are lying to you......you can take a bath all through pregnancy just make sure you dry your area really good because yeast infections can develop really easily if you do not properly dry your vaginal area

I did the same with toothpaste. If he goes through a phase (and both of boys eventually did) where he hates brushing his teeth then I surprise him with some cool-tasting kids toothpaste. Solved the problem of a kid looking for a way to avoid brushing his teeth.

If you go that route, be sure to risne very thoroughly and apply baby oil while your skin is still wet/moist. You can get a nice bubble bath at the discount stores that will be better for your skin. Bath and Body Works has excellent products and are usually on sale this time of year- buy one get one free.
well, start by filling the tub with approximately 55 quarts of warm to luke warm water. Then empty 5mL of cool milk into the bath tub. Next, drop 17 ounces of dirt and 13 cups of purple acrylic paint into the bath water....enjoy!

All you really need is some good ol' shampoo!
Take some shampoo and pour some under the faucet as your bath fills up.

I bought some Mr. Bubble, but I don't like spending $3 for a small amount. I was wondering if I could save any money by making my own. Does anyone know what the ingredients are or how to make it?

i do it all the time when i need to relax and i use the type that smells good i mean its like almost the same thing if you cash your head with it then yes because when you wash your hair with it and you wash the shampoo out you get it on your skin so it shouldnt do anything it hasnt to me unless you are very sensitve in that area or let me rephrase that if you have sensitive skin

The best bubble bath that I know is Badedas, it is quite expensive but was the one recommended by a dermatologist. It is very bubbly and smells nice, it has horse chestnut in it. Very relaxing.

It is said that you can actually induce labor by taking a nice warm bath before you go to bed because it relaxes you enough to start contractions. That is why a lot of women go into labor in the middle of the night. They are relaxed. Also, a lot of women tend to go into labor once they have everything done that they are worried about getting done before they have the baby. Good luck!

How long after giving birth can you take a bubble bath?
i gave birth to my son on the 1/3/08.. i had to get 3 stitches also. The midwife had advised me to stay away from bubble baths as it would cause infection, but when will i be able to go for a bath as my midwife isnt coming out anymore to see me so i cant ask her?

It would take a lot of dye to dye all the water a color. The bubbles on top are ';white'; because they are reflecting light, much like a bunch of small mirrors. Why does bubble bath work best in lukewarm water?
because water which is heated will react much quicker with the soap as any reactions are sped up by the risen temperature so the soap solution will produce a lather more quickly.

Oh, actually, heres a better idea. Eve notice how you cant get a lather in sea water? Thats because of the salt. Pour some salt down there, swish it around to dissolve it and you should be OK to flush.

I wouldn't flush, unless you fancy a bubble party in the bathroom (maybe your nephew fancied that idea!).
I would try and get as much out before flushing. I think what I would do would be to start by getting the water out the bowl somehow - scoop out as much as you can with a cup or something, try to get the rest with something that would suck the water out - a bicycle pump would likely do (without the attatchment that fits onto the valve). Once the water is out, just a case of wiping out the bubble bath. Once that was done, I would then pour several pails of water down - that should flush any remains away and you can control the amount of water.
Best of luck! (And think of that squeaky clean toilet!!).

If you can get it by scooping it out with a cup I would try to do that to as much of it as possible or your going to have a very big mess! And depending on the septic system you have you might have problems there but you shouldn't. Still I would try to empty it out. Behind your toilet there should be a valve where you can turn the water off temporarily or remove the lid and pull that one thing up (I don't know what it is called I'm not a plumber-just a mother).

i'd say look for any bubble bath that does not have this ingredients but almost all of them do unfortunately =(

First of all, you need to be storing the chemicals out of your kids reach and punishing the child for this. Even with the bubble bath as it can be harmful to the cat as well. You need to be teaching your kid not to mess with the cat any more either. Then lastly supervise your kid better.
Beat his *** and hide the pine sol.
How old is your son?
If he is younger, you can ask him why he thinks the cat needs a bath with bubble bath and pine sol, then carefully explain to him that those are dangerous to the cat. If he continues to want to bathe the cat, get him a cat shampoo and oversee the process. Most cats hate getting bathed, but if he learns the proper way to bathe a cat and what should be used, it is better than your current situation.
You could also try finding a toy (not a stuffed animal, but something that would be appropriate for this situation) that is shaped like a cat and allowing him to bathe it instead, performing it properly so that he learns what is ok and what is not.
I would also suggest putting the bubble bath and pine sol in a place where he can not get to it until he learns better.
And if your son is a preteen/teenager, ground him or disipline him in a proper manner. You could also make him volunteer at an animal shelter/animal control in order to gain respect for animals rather than seeking to harm the animals.
Pine sol is very harsh on the skin and if ingested can cause ulcerations in the mouth, tongue, esophagous, and stomach (and continue down the digestive tract until semi-neutralized). It deends on the bubble bath, but at least it will cause some drying of the skin and fur.
