Is it ok to give a 3wk 4 day old newborn a bubble bath?

I've been giving him a bath but I was wondering is it ok to give him a bubble bath?Is it ok to give a 3wk 4 day old newborn a bubble bath?
Oh yeah it should be fine. If you can use bubble bath meant for babies so that it doesnt burn his/or her eyes it should be fine...Good luckIs it ok to give a 3wk 4 day old newborn a bubble bath?
No, do not give him/her a bubble bath. Bubble bath soap tends to be very harsh and can irritate the skin and could possibly cause an allergic reaction/rash. Baths this early in your child's life is simply to clean your child.

I would wait until a year, if not more, just to ensure that he/she does not have a bad reaction.
No. I wouldnt. Right on the bottle it says nnot recommended for children under 3 cause of a chance for urinary tract infections and in a baby that young it could really irritate his skin. Plus it would only be for your own benefit at this point. He really wouldnt enjoy it. I guess it would be a good photo op at the least.
What would be the purpose? He is not going to know he is getting a bubble bath. But if you really want to just make sure you rinse him with clear water after the ';bubble bath'; so he doesn't have soap drying on his skin and cause irritation.
What do you mean by bubble bath? Like put some of his soap in his water or put some real bubble bath?

My answer: No, I would not give him a bubble bath. As he is still a newborn. His skin could be sensitive to things such as that.
I wouldn't just simply because he really won't be getting any enjoyment from it, yet. The soap may sting his eyes, too. If you do, though, get Mr. Bubble in the white bottle. It is dye free and scent free. It's good for sensitive skin.
No! Our pediatrican said to not give bubble baths until 2, if not 3 years of age due to risk of UTI's and bladder infections from the bubbles. You really should only give your child a bath for as long as it takes to wash.
No...

Babies typically have sensitive skin and I wouldnt chance it. You have the next 8 years for bubble baths. Just regular soup and water is great in my opinion.
I wouldn't. For one thing, he won't get any real enjoyment out of it and his skin is still sensitive. Some older children will develop rashes from a bubble bath, so I wouldn't risk it.
I know others would disagree but my baby's first ever bath was a bubble bath, it was the Johnson's mild bubble bath.....she has always enjoyed the bath and is now 8 months old and has never had any problems what so ever..............
depends on what you use. his skin is very senstive. if you are doing everything correct and its specially made for babies then i dont see why not. but then again why would you want to in the first place??
No, just use water and baby soap, or those special soaps meant for babies, but not regular bubble bath - it is not suitable for babies.
What kind of bubble bath? Baby bubble bath? Sure it is fine, but if he gets the bubbles on his hands then he'll put his hands in his mouth....

All babies react differently to things so just trial and error.
There's no need for a bubble bath...he's too young, wait until he can sit up and splash on his own. Plus bubble bath could be irritating to his skin.
I really dont see what the point of a bubble bath that young will be, the baby is too young to enjoy it.
Sure, as long as you're using the same baby soap that you use to wash him normally %26amp; make sure the bubbles don't get in his mouth.

It'll be a really cute photo op :)
Baths are fine...with out the bubble bath. Plain water and a little baby soap. Read your bubble bath label most not meant for children.
Their skin is so sensitive at that age, i wouldn't risk it.
NO.
awww a baby isn't that cute
NO! are you nuts? The bubble bath soap will be to harsh on your baby's skin! This isn't a doll we're talking about it's your child! Why would you even think of trying to give a newborn a bubble bath? Are you 12?
