Can you use bubble bath or bath oil in a Jacuzzi?

We are going to a hotel this weekend and there is a whirlpool tub in the room. When my hubby saw me packing the bubble bath and bath salts he told me you can't use stuff like that in a Jacuzzi. Is that true? Can you use bubble bath or bath oil in a Jacuzzi?
You are both right. Bubble bath, no. Bath foam, yes.

True, can't use. HOWEVER, look for a product that states 'foam' on it and read instructions. If it does not contain oil, OK to use. I use bath foam in mine all the time (there are couple of nice bath foams by Intensive Care). Oil is what clogs the jets. When using it, use VERY LITTLE (such as 1/2 length of first finger joint). The jets really, really make it foam (or bubble). Can you use bubble bath or bath oil in a Jacuzzi?
Most hotels don't allow you to add anything to jacuzi water. They get treated like a swimming pool and additives will change the Ph of the water. They don't get drained after each use like a bathtub so whatever you add stays in there for a long time. You can ask at the front desk if it's OK. They may have something that they recommend or will provide for you.
I wouldn't. If you gum up the jacuzzi you may be charged for the repair or replacement. So find out for sure before you do it.
Hi, I had a whirlpool and if you use any bubble bath in it, NOT more then a drop! It's a Whirlpool! It bubbles it up like crazy! And NO to any type of oil's. It clogs up the jets and that's no good. Plus ya know how many germs and Bactria's are in those community hot tubs-whirlpools! I wouldn't go in one if you paid me! I know they sound like fun and they are but think about it! Get it on with your bad self's in the shower and then use the oils!!! Have fun!
