Can you damage an in ground pool by putting foam or bubble bath formula in it?

Its just a regular in ground pool with filter and heater and lining. no jets. Can you damage an in ground pool by putting foam or bubble bath formula in it?
Well technically no. Many of these materials are made to dump into your bath and drain when you are done with them. Many of these materials contain phosphates that algae just love it is like fertilizer to them!

But it all depends on the concentration in ppm. If the value is diluted enough you may not see a problem. But it is still not a good idea to put in your pool unless you want to drain it.Can you damage an in ground pool by putting foam or bubble bath formula in it?
No you should be ok. I have had customers ask me this before. I will tell you that it is hard to filter out. but just keep it running and keep draining it a little and re-filling. But do not empty the pool or your liner could dry out on you.
