What is the optimum ratio of bubble bath to water to make the most bubbles?

Whenever I put bubblebath in I only end up with a small patch of bubbles which dissapear in a minute or so.What is the optimum ratio of bubble bath to water to make the most bubbles?
Sounds like a good PhD project!!

The reason you're having trouble getting the bubbles to form is because you are either very stingy with the bubble bath or you live in a very hard water area. I'd hazard a guess that it's the second alternative. What is the optimum ratio of bubble bath to water to make the most bubbles?
we have a jacuzzi thing that we put in the bath.

its like a vacuum cleaner but it blows instead of sucks and connects to a mat which sticks in the bottom of the bath.

when we add bubble bath to that the bubbles well they end up coming out the door like something out of a horror film.

my kids love it.

half the time i can,t find them when they are in there which is even better.
Buy better bubble bath...the cheap stuff thins out quickly.
Maybe you just have cheap bubble bath. Ever notice the difference between the amount of bubbles created from different types of laundry detergent? Same applies to bubble bath.
The answer is in the water not the bubble bath. Bet you live in a hard water area
try running the water and putting the bubble bath into the running water stream

the ratio would be 20% to 33% of bottle for one half filled bath
I just pour tons in the water as the water is running..Just pour slowly of course where the water comes out of the faucet. They never really last for very long.
