Is it OK to bath my dog in normal bubble bath?

I am just wondering is it harmful to use normal bubble bath for my dog or should I always use the proper dog stuff? Is it OK to bath my dog in normal bubble bath?
No use proper stuff, that'll help to keep fleas and such offIs it OK to bath my dog in normal bubble bath?
Well, i don't know about you, but most bubble baths set my groin on fire and leaves my hair looking as dull as dirt.

I wouldn't use it on my dog, no.

Bubble bath is not intended to clean, it is intended to make your bath smell nice and relax humans - neither are qualities your dog will appreciate.
No, don't. It could cause his hair to fall out his skin to flake. Here is a website that explains how to bathe dogs properly, and so on. It's really helpful :)

Here is a paragraph from it that seemed to go right along with your question:

Use a shampoo designed specifically for pets, rather than your own personal shampoo. Quality pet shampoos take into consideration that a dog's skin has a different pH level than human skin. There are also tear-free shampoos that will not sting a dog's eyes. (Keep in mind that just like human tear-free shampoos, they simply contain an eye-numbing agent, and the soap exposure can still damage the eyes. Keep all shampoo, tear-free or not, out of the eyes as much as possible.) A great smelling conditioner is also a nice addition. Consult your veterinarian if your dog has skin irritations or other conditions. Dilute the shampoo and apply from a squeeze bottle (like a dishwashing liquid) so you can squirt the shampoo wherever you wish.

Do not bathe the dog with soap intended for humans. It can damage the dog's skin by making it dry, forming flakes or creating chemical reactions. Remember human skin and the skin of a dog are not the same.
Not a good idea to use a product designed for human skin. The various pet store will try to advise you to buy all branded products but the truth is if you need a medicated shampoo - speak to your vet %26amp; try Malase (about 9 per large bottle) if its just for a general tidy up then a gentle washing up liquid solution is just as good
Hi there no it won't be good enough for your dog unfortunately.

What you do need is good do shampoo for example Bob Martin.

You should also not wash your dog that much, instead brush and use wet wipes as washing him oo much affects his skin and can also make him smellier.

I hope this helps!

Always use proper dog shampoo! As any kind of humen shampoo can irritate the dog's skin however you can use puppy shampoo.
i have pure bred pug and she's almost 12 now and i always use regular shampoo on her and she has never in 12 years had a problem with her skin ie. dry skin, i always pick shampoo that has a nice fruity sweet scent to it, like watermelon, apple or coconut.
I would not use bubble bath as I think this may be too scented and may make the dog dry and itchy

I use Greenfield shampoo which is available from Burns

Use proper dog stuff.

Anything else will dry out his skin at best, and possibly cause an irritation at worst.
No, it will dry the dogs skin out and cause skin problems. That means vet bills
i dont think so but it depends on what kind of dogs but dont do it with a pug
It's fine, but not on sensitive skin dogs, like pugs.
I would use Johnsons baby shampoo, with no tears.
