I had my daughter a little over 3 weeks ago and I was just wondering when it is okay to take a bubble bath. The doctor who discharged me told me no baths for me but didn't say for how long...How soon can you take a bubble bath after having a baby?
Even though your cervix is closed, I would avoid additives to the bath for at least 6 weeks. Sometimes, since they use a urine catheter during labor , you could get a irritation. Also, do not get in a really hot, deep bath if you are still bleeding. This can make the bleeding start getting heavy again.
